the Leaf

turn over a new leaf:

-When you decide to do something different to change your life for the better, you are turning over a new leaf. Example: “This year I’ve joined a gym and I am exercising every day. I’m turning over a new leaf.” source: www.goenglish.com

i want to change, for the better, and getting better everyday. it is not something that is easy to be done, but it’s something that must be done by each and every muslim because we muslims should not stay deceived everyday, let alone stay a failure.

Hadith:

“Sesungguhnya orang yang paling berjaya ialah orang yang hari ini lebih baik daripada semalam dan orang yang gagal adalah orang yang hari ini lebih teruk daripada semalam, manakala orang yang terpedaya adalah orang yang hari ini sama dengan hari semalam” – hadis riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim.

one of the reasons ‘the Leaf’ exists is that i hope it can become one of my changing forces, that whenever i write a post, with Allah’s will, it can provide me with the strength to improve myself, and stay strong with it. but while i’m at it, why not let people of the world benefit from it as it has benefit me?

Linguistic

‘Leaf’ in arabic is ‘وَرَقَة’ (read: waroqoh) . In Malay, ‘warkah’ is a letter. so ‘the Leaf’ is my letter that i hope can reach and benefit the people of the world, insyaAllah

‘sampaikanlah dariku walau sepotong ayat’ (mafhum hadis)

wallahua’lam
